What does Microneedling treat?
Great for: Wrinkles, Acne Scars and Hyperpigmentation (dark spots), and to Control Acne.
Is this a treatment that anyone can get?
No. Unfortunately this treatment is not allowed to be performed on anyone with Keloids, uncontrolled high blood pressure, scleroderma, diabetics, those on blood thinners or other medications that control blood flow.
Is there any downtime?
Yes, there is a three day downtime. A few of the downtime instructions are no gym, saunas, hot tubs, excessive sweating/heating up the body, no alcohol (first 24 hours), minimal to no makeup. You basically want a clean and healthy environment to ensure proper healing. At about the 3-5 day mark, you may experience light flaking and/or peeling. It is imperative that you use a 30spf or higher sun protection post procedure per written aftercare instructions.
What products do you use?
The products I have chosen for this advanced treatment ensure proper healing that maximize your results. These include growth factors and heavy weight Hylauronic Acid from AnteAge. The pen I use has a silicone back-flow stop and the numbing cream is lidocaine based. I also incorporate the Celluma LED Light Therapy shield to stimulate healing and minimize inflammation. After care products vary on your skin condition and package purchased.
How often do I need to come back?
While many of my clients see results after just one treatment, your best outcome can be reached when scheduled in a series. Treatments are scheduled 4-6 weeks apart. after a series of 3-5, clients are put on a maintenance program or either quarterly or bi-annual treatments.
Cost?
$189/per single treatment, per area (face or neck or declotte)
Can schedule 2 areas to be treated at same appointment for a combined rate.
